Katelyn Jay Photography - Preserving Special Moments

Growing up, my parents would rent a video camera every year at Christmas time. My sisters and I would all have turns recording these memories from our own perspectives. Watching those videos now, I am so thankful for those documented moments even today.

We would never have those amazing (and of course, awkward) stages of us growing up together if we’d been raised in a time when snapshots are posted to Facebook only to get lost in a sea of snapshots… it’s just not the same as preserving those special memories.

Photography became my calling in life. The passion grew, starting as a hobby with a little Kodak point-and-shoot and has led me to Katelyn Jay Photography… specializing in capturing moments. Whether it’s a maternity/newborn, family, or a wedding session, the most authentic portraits capture in-the-moment emotions and that’s what I focus (pun intended) on preserving.

Candid, authentic, and natural… not posed and awkward. Those are the portraits that truly tell a story, and it is a story that your children’s grandchildren (and all future generations) will appreciate.

I am currently located in Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada and will happily travel to any destination worldwide for your photography needs.

Please feel free to contact me at any time if you have questions regarding the services I provide. Thank you for taking the time to view my photography site! I look forward to meeting you, wherever you may be and to have the opportunity to preserve your special moments.
